Bio
I am an Assistant Professor of Black Studies at Occidental College with research and teaching interests that converge around Du Boisian, environmental, anticolonial, and historical approaches to sociological inquiry.
I earned a B.A. in Sociology (with distinction) from the University of San Diego, where i also studied Philosophy and Peace and Justice Studies. I received both my M.A. (2014) and Ph.D. (2018) in Sociology from Brown University.
